Sugarloaf Cabin

Completed in 1998, Sugarloaf Ranch offers a stunning custom-built cabin constructed with blue spruce logs from British Columbia. The interior of the cabin features hickory floors, cabinets, and staircases, and the door is made from a 5000 year old naturally felled heart redwood dating back to 1928. The countertops were hand sculpted and imported to fit the entirety of the kitchen. Outside, a moat encompasses the cabin, utilizing a natural spring to keep the cellar at a constant 58 degrees. This project showcases the skilled craftsmanship and natural beauty of the materials used during its construction and continued restoration.
